The Restaurant Garai, previously called Gusurmendi, opened its doors for the first time in 1970 by Moisés Salazar -who was mayor of this locality by that time-, and whom in those years became very famous because of his traditional cook, putting the stress into his own local products, and receiving in his halls numerous parties, celebrations, weddings, etc.

Subsequently, the restaurant was transfer from his heirs to Modesta Escribano in 1989, who gave it the name of Garai, name of the district in which was situated. Indoors, one will found a warm and familiar welcome and a very pleasant mountain restaurant.
